Pam is a genius at wool applique and her Nocturne quilt showcases her skill. I quilted a straight line wavy border around this piece with free motion swirls, pebbles, flowers and clamshells as fill. All the appliques were outline stitched and tree "bark" quilted along the tree trunk. Stunning!
