These wool quilts were made by Pat, she says they are so much fun and are quick to complete. She's having a blast making them and has done several in a short time. I've quilted them with so fine thread in the background fabric with invisible thread on the wool appliques. They are adorable. Patterns are from Kim Schaefer's book, Whimsical Wool Appliques, except for this first one the Happy Tree is a free pattern from Andover fabrics website.

Beautiful butterflies, the wool is extraordinary, great color and provides wonderful definition after quilting.
