Colorado Quilt

Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! I had the opportunity to get to Colorado, visiting family, the weather was great and we were able to get a little hiking in.  The last time I was in Colorado Springs, I stopped at a cute quilt store Nana's Quilt Cottage and picked up a quilt kit, very Colorado-ish in color and theme.  The quilt was a gift to my son and I decided to take a few pictures of it in Colorado.  (guess I'll keep my day job, not much of a photographer!)  Enjoy

Nothing fancy, free motion hand guided quilting.  Batiks, Hobbs 80/20 batting.

We made it to the top! Crazy windy and chilly up here!  and the altitude sickness hubby got makes for an hilarious vacation memory.  (He vomited in the rental car!  Ack!)
