Japanese Jigsaw

I had the pleasure of quilting this for a new customer and it turned out wonderfully.  The monochromatic color scheme has an understated beauty which I didn't fully appreciate until I started quilting.  Only then did the variances of color become apparent to me and I absolutely love it.  Instead of the black on white being the negative space it was the orange that holds the show, both in quilting and color beauty.  Enjoy!

and the back had a gorgeous gold sheen which showcased the quilting.  the pictures were taken on a partly sunny, partly cloudy day...you can see the difference when the sun was shining directly on the gold

 Isn't it a great quilt?!!!
