Just finished the quilting on this one yesterday for a client in Texas. She'll be giving it away as a wedding gift and wanted to personalize it just a bit, so I added the recipients names with interlocking rings in the top border. Tons of feathers! Used Glide Military gold which is beautiful, but dare I say...I was tired of looking at the shine! and sneaked a little So Fine #50 cream into it!
Love the quilting. How did you create the names and double wedding rings, they are a perfect accompaniment to this quilt?
ReplyDeleteHi Pauline, I simply printed a word document with the names and prior to loading it on the longarm, I used a lightbox and traced them with a chalk pencil. Thanks! Sue
