Log Cabin completed

This lovely log cabin is completed! and I've got pictures to prove it!!! :)

I had some difficulty with sagging of the backing fabric and trying to avoid puckers in several areas, which I attribute to the cabin squares being off in size.  But all is well, no puckering or pleating and overall the quilt is square.

Hobbs cotton batting.  Magnifico brown and gold threads from superiorthreads.com.

I've been playing around with my camera settings, it's hard to capture the quilting and maintain the true colors of the quilt. So some of these pictures showcase the quilting well but the fabrics appear lighter than their real color.  The true quilt colors are apparent in the last photo.

Oh shoot! It would have been a great picture....wish I would have taken down my alligator head, moved the camera stand and lighting out of the way!!! Oops...

Thanks for stopping by and have a good a day!
