WIP - Arkansas Crossroads

Just wanted to share the progress on my current projects.  I pieced together an Arkansas Crossroads quilt as a stash buster and finally got it on the LA machine.  I was going to do an E2E pantograph, but instead decided to quilt free-motion feathers in the squared areas, which was a lot of feathers! (but they quilt so quickly! making it fun!)  Then I doodled lots of possibilities for the white "crossroad" sections however I wasn't completely satisfied with any of them.  I wanted something fast, (after all it's a comfort quilt) but I didn't want a quilt-full of only feathers. Then I remembered seeing a tutorial on #Jenny's Doodling Needle blogsite back in January (?) so I revisited the tutorial and was amazed that it is the Same! quilt pattern!  Now I love what Jenny does with her quilting and decided I'd give it a go. 

 

Also, I've decided to drive down to Chicago for the international quilt show this Friday! yay! I'm very excited!  I'm sure I'll have tons of pictures to post!  Thanks for looking, have a great week.
