California Dreaming Quilt

Here's another quilt I did for my customer Evelyn.  It's entitled California Dreaming, ~91x93.  I used Quilters Dream poly with Glide and Magnifico threads.  This was the first time I used this batting and I was very pleased with it, the quality is superb...I think it's much better than the Hobbs 80/20 which I usually use, but the cost is much more--of course! I used rows of organic fills alternating with rows of structured diamonds (diamond design by Judi Madsen).
Pebbles and Rocks :)

I love this design! reminds of olives...which reminds of Gin Gimlets...which signals it's time to stop quilting! :)

I'm totally diggin' squares right now....

Flames on a ....snake?

Sometimes inspiration is right in front of you....this fabric had great flowers that I just quilted around

  6. Do you know where your customer got the pattern for this quilt? I cannot seem to find one exactly like it. The closest I can find at the strips of fabric without the diamonds between them. This is a very beautiful quilt pattern and I would like to try and make one. Thank you for your help.
